Unique Shamque

Founder

Our Story

Built from lived experience.

Sacred 7 was founded from lived experience. Founder Shamque "Unique" Baugh advocated for her son, Deemique, after he was diagnosed with PDD (Pervasive Developmental Disorder), ADHD, and autism.

Despite early expectations about what he might not accomplish, Deemique played high school football, participated in ROTC, was voted Junior and Senior Homecoming King, graduated with a standard high school diploma, and today, at age 24, is employed as a floor technician.

Unique also supported her daughter through depression following a family transition. Through continued advocacy and support, she completed her welding education and earned her welding credential. Sacred 7 has since assisted hundreds of youth, caregivers, and families — and two educators who supported Deemique during his school years remain connected to Unique today, still supporting the Sacred 7 mission.
